Portfolio website builder

A portfolio website built from your career profile

Rolefora turns the experience, skills and projects already in your profile into a portfolio site. Pick one of 22 templates, make it yours and publish it to a link you can put on your CV and LinkedIn.

What you get

  • 22 different designs — cinematic, editorial, terminal, minimal, creative, 3D and more. Each has its own layout and typography, not just a different colour.
  • Your content, structured. About, projects, experience, skills, education, certifications, achievements, awards, testimonials, links, contact and custom sections. Reorder or hide any of them.
  • Projects with depth. Cover images, galleries, technologies, metrics, links and video embeds for each project.
  • Customisation within each design. Accent colour, type pairing, light or dark surface and how much motion the page uses (cinematic, subtle or still).
  • Preview before you publish on desktop and mobile, with the same renderer used for the published page.

Templates to start from

What makes a good portfolio website

A portfolio is read quickly, usually by someone deciding whether to contact you. A few habits help whichever template you choose:

  1. Lead with a clear one-line description of what you do and who you do it for.
  2. Show fewer projects in more depth. Explain the problem, your role and the outcome rather than listing everything.
  3. Use real numbers only when you have them. A measured result is stronger than an adjective.
  4. Make contact obvious. One visible email or call-to-action beats a long form.
  5. Keep it current. Update it when you finish something, and unpublish pages you no longer stand behind.

Publishing, privacy and plans

Your portfolio starts as a private draft. Nothing is public until you publish it, and you can unpublish at any time — a portfolio that is unpublished, expired or suspended is not reachable by visitors or search engines. You choose the link, and you can change it later.

Plans decide which templates you can keep public: the free starter template works on the Free plan, while premium templates need an active Pro subscription to stay published. Everything you wrote is kept either way, so switching templates or plans never costs you content — only which design is shown.

Because the portfolio is built from your Rolefora profile, updating a role or adding a project there is the quickest way to keep the site current. Add the portfolio link to your resume and LinkedIn so people can find the fuller story behind the one-page summary.

Frequently asked questions

Is the portfolio builder free?
You can preview every template without an account. One template (Cinematic Engineer) is available on the free plan; the others are premium templates that need a Pro subscription to publish. See pricing.
Where is my portfolio published?
On rolefora.com at a link based on your chosen name. You can unpublish it at any time. Drafts and unpublished portfolios are never visible to the public.
Can I use my own domain?
Custom domains are not currently supported.
Do I have to write everything again?
No. The portfolio reads your existing resume modules — experience, education, skills and projects — and you add portfolio-specific content such as project descriptions, images and a contact section.
Will search engines index my portfolio?
Published portfolios can be indexed by search engines, which helps people find your name. Portfolios that are drafts, unpublished or expired are excluded.
Do the templates work on phones?
Yes. Every template is responsive, and the live demos let you switch between desktop and mobile previews before you choose.
